## **3. Trustees’ Annual Report** 

## **Financial Review** 

The Trustees present their financial review for the year ended 31 March 2025. 

During the year, the charity received total income of **£25,026.00** . The principal sources of income were grant funding from the **National Lottery** and **Hertfordshire Community Grant** , together with donations received from **UK Network Birmingham** . 

Total expenditure for the year amounted to **£14,716.83** , incurred primarily in delivering community projects and activities. This included payments to freelance and sessional workers engaged on a project basis, along with venue hire, activity costs, and general administration. The charity has no paid employees, and activities continue to be supported by trustees and volunteers. 

The charity recorded a **surplus of £10,309.17** for the year. 

At the year end, the charity held **unrestricted reserves of £12,135.51** , all held as cash at bank. The Trustees consider this level of reserves to be appropriate to support the ongoing and future activities of the charity.

## **1. Basis of preparation** 

The accounts have been prepared on a cash (receipts and payments) basis in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 and Charity Commission guidance for smaller charities.

The charity had no employees during the year. Trustees received no remuneration. Freelance staff were engaged on a project-by-project basis as required.
