Activities and Achievements

During the financial year FICPS had a total income of £27,934.10, and total outgoings of £16,853.91. This gave us a NET profit of £11,080.19.

Our main fundraising activities were our Christmas Fair which made a profit of £2,855.39 with Scott Bader fund matching, giving us an additional £1,000. The Easter raffle was a huge success with a profit of £590.41 and our sponsored leap for leap day raising a fantastic £1,158, all from sponsorship. Our Mothers and Fathers day sales raised £756.94 and £503.77 retrospectively. The Your school lottery raised funds of £839.60 and Bags to schools raised £310.60. Our Summer fair raised £1,252.93 with a further £829.02 raised from the Summer fair hampers. Finally we raised a portion of our Colour run money in this financial year which equated to £403.29.

We also had some successful grants including £8,520 from North Northamptonshire Council and a further £2,500 from the Nineveh trust. We received an amount of £300 from Mulberry Homes and a further £100 from Scott Bader. We also banked a cheque of £1,600, from an Asda grant that was given to us in the last financial year but was not cashed before the previous year end.

During this year we donated £12,105.85 to the school, this includes the following: Each child received a book from Father Christmas which cost £431.85. We paid for year 6 to have Ice Creams after their SATS which came to a total of £75. We also paid £700 towards the Year 6 trip to Chester House and £200 towards their Leavers Festival. There was also an amount of £12.50 spent on Ice poles for the children to have on sports day. We gave a total of £1,549.34 out of the £1,600 Asda grant to the school for the Lab 13 project in which the grant was applied for.

Our big project this year was to raise funds for the expansion and improvement of the old Wildlife area to turn it into an Outdoor learning area that could be used by the whole school. At the end of the financial year we had spent a total of £9,137.16 towards this project, however it was ongoing so will continue to have costs shown in the next financial year too.

Miscellaneous purchases including annual fees, stamps, a FICPS banner and HiVis vests which all totalled £275.17.

At the end of the financial year FICPS has £15,618.53 in cash and bank balances.
