1. Pastor Ceri thanked those who had written 2nd submitted reports and said that the
church has come a long way sint* il's birth through to Pastor Tim and beyond.
A good succession plan is key as this is spiritual pressure as well physi¢%1 pressure
when sUc￿Ssion is happening.
Pastor C reported an easy, happy mentoring time with Rick and Karen Walker. At the
end of the year Pastor C is ￿￿king lo step back and Rick will come lo the fore and
she will remain in the background.
She urged people to support Rick and Karen, chal to them and be loyal.

es in Youth
Tara will be stepping down from the youth. Acts 2 together with Wilmington CC
leaders have agreed that Molly will be taking over leading the youth for both
churches with one paid day per week. Please pray for a male leader to come
alongside Molly.
Tech Team
2. Toby has proposed a plan to update all of the systems providing a better service
overall and he suggested an earlier set up time for the tech team to ensure the
stream for zoom was effective.
Bridget questioned what the cost would be: £2500 was suggested.
Bali suggested the possibility of looking for a grant for this.
Bali mentioned the Importan￿ of the website, logo, streamlining emails and systems.
She asked if it was possible to run it with a live ¢haL There will be a name change to
Acts 2 Community Church.
Ivan asked rf we could have screens at the front of the church for singers & worship
leaders to use to eradicate the need for music stands and papers at the front.
Brian suggested contacting Richmix who have equipment at a redU￿d price. He also
asked in general thal we keep in mind & remember zoom members.
3. Patience brought up the importance of connecting with people who come infrequently
and said it would be g(￿￿ to have a person who follovts up with folks who have not
been for a while.
4. Rick mentioned that he and Karen would be merging the men and women's
WhatsApp groups.
5. The re￿nt Child Protection training was mentioned and the need for mindfulness of
the requirements for GPDR.
6. The need for good stewardship with our church time keeping with the service stsrting
@10'.30 am promptly was mentioned.
7. Pastor Ceri finished by saying that the business meeting is a time to reflect and
review the year to see what we do well.
8. Fiona asked for a round of applause for Pastor Ceri at her last business meeting.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity (Ihe Trust") for the year ended 31 D8￿mber 2023.
As the charit5ls trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
("the Act.).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying oul my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145{5Mb) of the Act.
