Senior Leader Report 2022
This year has seen us pushing forward despite the
many challenges that face us post - covid. %_
Covid has very much affected culture and the effects of
the pandemic can be seen , impacting in particular in
the areas of mental health and general wellbeing.
.There has been an increase in povety with people
losing jobs, taking a cut in income, businesses failing
and rapidly rising prices.
It's true to say that the church has not escaped
unscathed. Attendance has in many cases become
sporadic with many no longer in attendance.
For us here in Acts2 Church many things have been
positive. We have seen answers to prayer, healings and
miraculously turned around circumstances and
provision. There have been many testimonies as to
Gods faithfulness.
We now congregate between two buildings, Bizniz
Point in Dartford and the Rugby Club in Stone.
Each building has its own dynamic and there are
advantages to both. We do believe that the church is
not the buildinq and we continue to be, at this present

We influence areas not buildings and we change
atmospheres that through Gods grace result in
changed lives, directly or indirectly through the work
that God has given us to do. We do not want to be tied
down by tradition, but want to be free to be positioned
for the appointed season.
Transitioning is not easy and we have seen some
members leave.
Others have come, and we welcome Angela, Loretta
and Brian, who have recently joined our membership.
The Youth Merger with our Acts 2 Youth and the
Wilmington Youth continues to strengthen. It was lovely
to see 5 of our young people getting baptised this year
and we pray that God will become more and more real
to them, as friend and guide. A big thank you to Molly,
who has been so committed in leading our youth on
Fridays and Sundays, and thanks also to Tara for all
she does.
We are grateful to Mel, Jo and Madox, for leading the
Sunday Kid zone, with the help of Isaac, Loretta,
Henrietta and occasionally some of the youth - thank
you all.
To James Stean and Fiona for remaining dedicated to

l am very grateful to those of you who support so
faithfully and see much We have seen so many
amazing answers to prayer. achieved in the natural and
spiritual realm.
Visiting Speakers have included Gordon Raggett, Peter
Austin and Philip Oti. We have been inspired by them
and also those in our own church family who have
spoken this year.
Acts 2 Citc has been and still is , a great help to many
families.1 recently met a mother of 5 who told me that
she is so thankful for the food that is being provided.
Thank you Bali, Rhoda, the cooks and those who
deliver. You are valued.
Mel and Maddox have continued to keep you well
connected and supported. Many thanks to them for the
initiatives they have put time and effort into.
Also to Patience for continuing to watch over our active
friends.
The parenting course has continued to run once every
six weeks and has been well attended.

To all who serve in any area from welcome and
hospitality to band and technology - we appreciated
you all.
My personal thanks and gratitude to the senior
leadership team Madox , Mel and Jo, who continue to
go above and beyond in their hard work and unfailing
support. Also to the wider leadership team, who get
involved in so many ways, often unseen. Thankyou for
your gifts, your giving, your time and your sacrifice.
As we seek God for the future of Acts2, lets pray that
his will becomes crystal clear.
My prayer for us all is that we will follow his path and
flourish.
