Our church continues to grow and since the last report we have continued to be blessed by new families with children joining our congregation and further expansion of ministries. Over the past year the group for secondary school age children called Youth Alive has continued to meet regularly and they went on a week long trip during last year. 

Our Care Groups have continued to meet regularly every week, with members supporting each other in study of the scripture and discussion and also prayer. We continue to hold our usual  weekly  Sunday  communion  services  and  evening  prayer  meetings.  We  also  do community outreach via our weekly coffee morning. 

Our WoW Group (Women of Wellspring) has continued to flourish and in the autumn, paintings by the Women of Wellspring were put together and the Church opened on a Saturday as an Art Gallery so that the public could view the paintings and buy them if they wanted to do so.  The Men of Wellspring have come together for a breakfast. 

The Church property in Erith continues to be rented by the tenant who has been in place since 2018. The property is a two bedroom terraced house with a small conservatory and a garden. There have been problems with rent arrears and the tenant has been issued with an eviction notice. 

The Church Building needs some repairs, the most significant being a need for electrical rewiring which we still need to get done. Smaller repairs to the lights in the main sanctuary have been carried out. We have needed to update the digital equipment that we use for our Church Services and we took a special offering and managed to raise some money towards this while the remainder was paid from Church funds and a new sound desk is shortly to be installed. 

We thank and praise God for the work that he is doing in our church: for the new people that he is bringing in; for those of our congregation who help in Sunday school; those who provide hospitality after each weekly church service by making cups of tea and coffee and providing light refreshments;  those who help to keep the church clean and in other ways maintain the building; those who help out with the various ministries. We are very grateful to our worship team.

It is my responsibility to: 

   - examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, 

   - to follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and 

   - • to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. 

- **Basis of independent** My examination was carried out in accordance with general directions given **examiner’s statement** by the Charity Commission.  An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records.  It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.  The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and 

consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
