Annual Update
As a church, we were pleased to begin to reform and meet regularly after local restrictions still upholding safeguarding requirements. As a registered charity and in receipt of public money through the Gift Aid scheme, we are pleased to be able to support many charitable needs both overseas and nationally. Our heart has also been for those in need locally.
We have resumed regular Sunday services, but continue to hold midweek meetings via Zoom to benefit those who are physically unable to attend. We have felt that this arrangement suits many people.
According to our beliefs and the word of God, we donate at least one tenth of all our income and in turn use at least a tenth of all we give supporting needs of others. The church generously gives individually to the growing need of the local food bank and the homeless.
Annually, we send off a large number of gift boxes for children organised by the charity, Samaritans Purse. Church members commit to filling the boxes with gifts for children and teenagers which are sent abroad.
As trustees, we acknowledge and are pleased that we are in receipt of public monies through the Gift Aid scheme. We are committed to fulfilling our responsibilities to the Charity Commission to the best of our abilities.
Signed:
Mrs. Ronke Titilope Morris
Mrs. Clara Olapegba Adegbulu

Independent Examiner’s Report
This report on the financial statements of Full Gospel Church for the year ended 31 December 2021, which are set out on pages 6 to 10, is in respect of an examination carried out in accordance with section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act').
Respective responsibilities of the trustees and examiner
As trustees of the Church you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements; you consider that the audit requirements of the Regulations and section 144 (2) of the Act does not apply and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to:
-
examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act;
-
follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act; and
-
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiners report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission under s.145 (5)(b) of the Act. That examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Church and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the financial statements, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair view’ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Independent examiner's statement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
-
which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements: to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act; and
-
to prepare financial statements, which accord with the accounting records and comply with the requirements of the Act and the Regulations;
-
have not been met; or
-
to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
