The objectives and activities of the Charity
The Charity is a trust governed by its Constitution. The objects of the Charity ("the Objects") are for the benefit of the public: (a) to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement in such ways and in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Church Council from time to time may think fit; (b) to relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind including through the provision of counselling and support in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Church Council from time to time think fit; and (c) to advance education in such ways and in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Church Council from time to time may think fit.
Church Activity:
The meetings on Sundays, Ministry days and conference days are designed to provide the congregation Christian worship, teaching, and discipleship to those who have a Christian faith and to introduce Christ to those in the community and look after the welfare of the congregation. These meetings are free of charge and are accessible to all nationalities, ethnicities and to those with or without faith.
Our online presence in the form of digital broadcasting has become a part of our services. We are on YouTube, FB, Instagram and Twitter. Whatsapp and Facebook is used to communicate and encourage church members in the congregation and beyond with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
By the grace of God we were able to provide holistic support and the spiritual lives of the congregation kept growing during the challenging times. The online meetings are viewed across the nations and provided solace and deliverance to the listeners.

Young Adults Ministry:
We have an exciting group of young people from ages 19-35. The ministry provides opportunities for growth through Bible study and to explore ways to integrate faith in their lives as they travel through life transitions. The aim is to develop leadership through mentoring, training and social programs to empower young adults and strengthen their commitment to Christ.
Youth Ministry- Revolution:
Belvedere Church has a vibrant group of young people from age 11 to 18 who attend the Youth meetings which is held on the 3rd Friday of every month. When children start secondary school they start coming to the Youth meeting and every meeting is geared towards equipping the young people to cope with the challenges of secondary school and with the demands and pressures from peer groups. The platform of zoom was also used to bring together children and young people its varied features were used to create an atmosphere of openness and enjoyment.
Children’s Ministry- Kids for Christ (KFC):
Children from the age of 3 to 10 attend our children’s ministry. During the year 2023, we continued with the creative and interactive ways to engage the young ones and make sure that the word of God was being taught to them. They has day long Children’s conference called True Tales. We had competitions and memory verse challenges to help them. We were able to involve them in special events like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, Christmas and New Year events. This encouraged our children and it helped to build their confidence and creative abilities.
Ladies Ministry- Ladies for the Lord:
We were able to encourage working women, young mothers and eldely women who were on their own or going through challenging times. Financial and other supports were also grated to the needy. All our women were supported individually by posting encouraging words, visits and literature also
Project 5k:
During the year 2023, Under the guidance and initiative of Pastor Charles Francis and his wife Ann Francis, Project Five K was able to support schools with food vouchers and beyond for struggling families.
Prison Ministry:
This is one of the ministries that the Church is very passionate about and ensures that the local prisoners are not forgotten. Sister Rowena Osmond represents the Church in partnership with Prison Fellowship and ensures that she takes literature, bibles and bible verses that helps to support and encourage prisoners in reforming and topics like

Restorative Justice brings hope to the inmates. Services are held there and Sister Rowena keeps us updated with the situation in the prisons.
During the year 2023, generous financial assistance was extended to struggling communities and individuals across the globe through charities in UK.. Examples of some major contributions include:
• Christain Resources in Bexley Schools (CRIBS):

Cribs delivers Religious Education in schools and supports the wider context of Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Development in schools.

Compassion UK:
In partnership with Compassion UK the members of our church financially sponsor 13 children in Philippines every month who are vulnerable due to poverty. It is a one-to-one child sponsorship model which our members are involved in personally to communicate with their sponsored children.

World in Need International (Formerly Emmanuel Press):

Over the last many years the Church has been able to help the work of this organization, who work to develop ideas, edit and format manuscripts of Christian literature and study materials.
• MAF UK (Mission Aviation Fellowship) :
We have been able support their work during 2022. MAF Works in partnership with hundreds of other Christian and relief organisations, MAF enables practical help, physical healing and spiritual hope to be delivered to some of the world’s most remote and inaccessible communities.
• Missionary help to Peter Austin in Spain:
- Peter Austin and his family, as well as Eldose who are working as missionaries in Spain and India respectively are supported for the work they are doing there.
• New Life Trust:
We support the work of evangelism of this organization in UK, based in Leicester. Pastor Yan Hadley travels around the UK with the message of the cross and his various books are a source of great encouragement.
• Faith School:
We continued to plan and pursue this project under the leadership of Dr. Carol Valinejad.
• Welfare Activities:
The Church and the members of the church had been able to financially

support the most vulnerable and needy in the church and in the community. We were also able to provide groceries/food whenever the need was intimated to us. We provided free lunch on all Sundays in the church.
Risk Management:
All major insurable risks are subject to normal Churches and Employers Insurance. From time-to-time reviews are made of areas of risk by the Trustees in conjunction with volunteer leaders responsible for the area of activity.
Church Building fund and Income:
We continued to look forward to saving towards a new church building as we have outgrown our present space especially to train and support our children’s ministry.
The Board of Trustees expresses sincere thanks to all leaders, members, friends of Belvedere Pentecostal Church for their prayers, encouragement, assistance and contributions during the year.

Respective The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in responsibilities of accordance with the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). trustees and examiner
The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Act and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:

examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act,
-
to follow the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Act, and
-
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner’s statement
Independent examiner's statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
In connection with my examination, no material matters have come to my attention which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect,:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
