Leadership Report
Introduttlon
This is the seventeenth year of producing a printed annual report for members in which
we provide our reports, the accounts and look to the future.
This report deals solely with the events and activities of 1st April 2024 to 31st March
2025.
Overvlew
As in previous years, the overall objective was to continue to build an intercultural and spiritual
community as well as to maintain a stable structure for meetings and administration. It aimed at
encouraging the ongoing spiritual growth in the body of the church. There was also an intention to
continue to make improvements on the building. As part of achieving the above aim5, the
leadership continued its search and processes for appointing a new minister to bring a renewed
vision for the church. Though we worked towards achieving thi5 goal and gave priority for
recruitment, this was not materialised due to various reasons. Meetings, administration proce5se5,
and improvements ofthe buildlng were addressed. The church has begun to grow in quality and
quantity. Young members of the church began to take more i nitiative in spiritual activities. The
Leadership has been keen to encourage every individual member in the church to become people
who read bible, pray regularly and develop their personal relationship with the Lord. We thank one
and all who serve in so many different and varied ways, all equally important. We all continue to
appreciate each other and thank those who support the varied activities needed to keep God's
church functioning.
Benefltlng the Communlty
The Objects of the Charlty are principally to the advancement of Christianity. This is
being done by the declaration and upholding of the Gospel concerning God'5 Son Jesu5
Christ the Lord and the preaching and teaching of the Word of God in accordance with
the Statement of Faith of the A55emblies of God in Great Britain as approved by the
General Council from time to time. In addition, the objectives allow the church to
minister into key areas of our society and the world and therefore allow us to minister to
the needs of the whole person.
In the ongoing work, we have continued throughout 2024 and into 2025 to hold a Sunday
service where the full Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed, and people are challenged to
live a life worthy of the gospel and put their faith into action. Our obvious aim is to
teach and train people of all ages from the Bible in ways that are relevant to their age
and culture, to be obedlent to God, to keep posltive relationship with their families and
to be good citiiens in our community.
A part of fulfilling our objectives is a commitment to missionary and social work in this
country and overseas. For a small church we endeavour to serve our community well
with street evangelism and residential outreach.

Leadership Report
We support organisations that specialise in Bible-centred teaching, work with ex-
prisoners and people in the community. Our support is also given to those organisations
that provide help with social problems and Support people and children around the
world whose lives have been devastated by natural disasters.

Concernlng the Coming Year
The Leadership and the church continue to be fully committed to explore new ways of
reaching out to the community with the gospel of Christ and demonstrating God's love
for the world. We want to encourage all believers in the church, the young people in
particular, continue to engage in evangelism and mission activities in the church and
neighbouring communities. We would like to see people growing more in their passion
and love for God. We would like to keep prayer and preaching the word of God at the
centre of the church activities. We want to see more people growing in their God-given
leadership roles. We will continue to keep our motto. Changed Hearts, Changed Lives
and Changed World"
Church Leadershlp and Management
While the structure for the church leadership development is addressed, there are other
areas that are still under development. Like the previous year, the church council needs
support and strengthening. Areas that need further development will be practical as
more people join the church. We would like to see more people taking initiative to serve
the church in this way.
Evangelism and Mlsslon
Evangelism and mission are integral part of the life of the church. They give us
opportunities to share the gospel with others. While some of these events or activities
are not for direct proclamation of the gospel, they give opportunity for interaction with
our community and the availability to answer questions. Community interaction helps
break down some of the myths about Christians and the church. It allows our communitv
to see the authenticity of our faith and the consistency of our lives.

Church Tithe
The church council continues to tithe to Watoto a sum of £300 pa to sponsor a child.
Concerning the Future
God has remained faithful throughout these uncertain times and has continued to meet
our needs. If you feel led by God to give financially-whether toward general church
needs or a specific project such as renovations-please do not hesitate to contact our
treasurer, Isabel Baskaran.
l encourage everyone to reflect on the biblical principle of tithing. For those who are
taxpayers, Gift Aid is also a valuable option, as it allows the Church to reclaim
approximately 2S% from the taxman. Setting up a monthly standing order is a simple and
effective way to manage regular giving. In addition, we will be looking into options for
online giving and text donations as we adapt to a society that increasingly uses less cash.
Finally, I thank God for His faithfulness and for every person who supported the work of
this church financially during the year ending March 2025. My prayer is that you will
continue to stand with us this year through your financial giving and through all the
other ways you serve and support our church.

Church Ministries
Springs Youth Group
community
Over the past year, Springs Youth has continued
to grow both in number and in spiritual maturity.
We meet on the first Sunday of every month,
gathering shortly after the morning service for a
time of study, fellowship, and a shared meal. We
have also been blessed with several new
members, including students from All Nations
Christian College, whose presence and
contributions have enriched the group greatly.
YouthGIoup,

Wi
11.,, 110th-
As in previous years, members of the youth have faithfully led studies covering a range of
biblical themes as well as topics relevant to the lives of young people today. It has been
encouraging to witness the youth deepen their understanding of Scripture, pray for one
another. and build meaningful, supportive relationships within the group.
The young people have also continued to play an active and valuable role in the wider
church community. This year, an increasing number of our youth have stepped forward
to preach during Sunday services. Their willingness to serve in this way is a powerful
testimony to their growth in the Lord, and their ministry has been a significant blessing
to the congregation.
We give thanks to God for all He is doing in the lives of our young people. Our ongoing
prayer is that they will continue to grow in laith, shine the light of Jesus in their daily
lives, and boldly share His message of salvation. May they remain rooted in the Word
and be strengthened as they contribute to building God's Kingdom here at Springs
Christian Fellowship.

Worship
As a Church we are extremely blessed to have such a variety of worshipers and
leaders providing a different style of music, leadership and sound that has the
capacity to appeal to different ages ranges and cultures.
Most recently we have seen a growth in the nufflbef of people wanting to be involved
in the Worship team, notably, various All Nations Students. The age range for our
current team is between 20-35. 1 for one know the church is raising up some
passionate and anointed leaders, notably Isabel, Chrystal and Cedrick who have now
started leading.
Many thanks to brother Eric, who continues to lead Worship regularly with his group,
alongside his other ministries.
We encourage individuality within our groups and love to incorporate the different
cultures / nationalities in our Church, with us sometimes singing songs in a variety of
languages.
Many thanks to Baskaran & Jack continue who regularly set up & soundboard every
Sunday. and Baskaran kindly renewed some of our equipment, allowing for better
sound quality & easier running of the tech desk. We welcome anyone who might be
interested in learning this in order to help them. The same goes with the projector
which a member of the worship team also operates each week.
A massive thank you from all of usl
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who is involved in the worship,.
from leading and playing to singing and operating our sound desk and projector.
Preparing and taking part in the worship IS a bid responsibility and not something we
take lightly. A lot of prayer, thought ana practice goes in each time we worship with
one another, so I want to express my appreciation for all your hard work and
devotion and may we continue to praise and magnify the Lord together.
A huge thank you to the musicians for their faithful hard work and dedication.

Faith Builders
Faith Builders has been running for nearly 11 years now. We meet once a fortnight
on alternate Fridays and have from 6 to 12 people of all ages most weeks. We always
start with a time of Praise and Worship, followed by a time where we share Prayer
needs and requests. which we then Pray over, and for one another. Following this
our 8ible Study lasts from 30 to 40 minute5, before we finish off with a nice Supper,
which Christina, Chris and I supplyl Although l usually lead the Bible Studies, I have
involved others in leading them as well, and everyone is always encouraged to be
involved with comments or questions during the evening.
In the past year we have looked at the Lives of various People in the Bible, both Good
and Bad, and looked at the many Scriptures that prove that Jesus Christ is GOD. We
also had our annual BBQ, and Isabel organised a very enjoyable Quiz Night for us,
which was great fun.
The meeting is also shown on Zoom and we often have 2 or 3 people joining us in
that wav.
We enjoy good Fellowship and the evenings are clearly greatly enjoyed as the hardest
part is getting everyone to go home afterwards!

Outreach
Open Alr Street & Resldentlal Homes
We like to call our Street Outreach an Open Alr as,
for the past 10 years, we've tried to be a group of
Christians having a Gospel Service outdoors. We
have our own printed Song Book of over 60 Gospel
hymns and choruses which we keep adding to wlth
new favourites.
We sing by the side of the Bridge near where the
footpath alongside the River starts, nearly opposite
the Neelakash Indian restaurant. It's a good spot
for singing and preaching a5 people walk past, and
there are folk sat outslde a cafe wlthln hearing
distance, as well as a bench close by, so we do have
people stopping to listen for a whilel
While some of u5 sing, others offer Tracts to passers-by and look for opportunities to
talk to them, and the folk who stop to listen to the singing. I link some of the songs
together with short Bible verses. one or two of our team share a short Gospel
message, and we also offer to pray for folk, and there are folk who stop, and 115ten,
and even accept prayer every week.
A5 well as the people who stop to listen, we've been amused as some have even
taken their mobile phone5 Out to film us while we've been singing.
We always enjoy ourselves, and l am very proud of and grateful for everyone who
helps, because it is a te3m effort that couldn't happen without such Support.
We also take Services every 2 or 3 months for two Resldentlal Homes, one in
Hertford (the Beane River Care Homel and one in Ware (Riversidel. The Residents
love our visits and join in cheerfully as we sing Favourite Hymns or, at Christmas, the
always popular Carols. One of us gives a short Gospel talk and we always Pray for
the Home, Resident5 and Staff, We also give a Salvation appeal at the end and have
been dellghted to see nearly 20 of the Senior Cltizens
plus a couple of staff
respond to receive the Lord Jesus as their Saviour.
