Onqoing building safety risk management continues as the building is Grade A at

England rating due to the roof and Cambridge roadside of repairs still required but
the urgent works wndows and masonry on the north and northeast side of the

weather deterioration and safety for all who use the yard access to neightouring

following the end of these repairs and the prevention of water Ingress that blighted

MCA Loan: _ (Methodist Funding for Churches)
The heritage build project over ran and did not finish within the allocated Heritage

therefore were not able to redeem all funding that had been planned from
Heritage Lottery and we had to provide 19k of match fvnding ourselves and this
had to be cOVe￿d by MCA loan as we had not succeeded in fundraising in time.
Therefore, the loan is for 5 years, can be paid off early, if possible, which is our

that this service ended in Apnl 2024 as funding had to be redirected and
therefore from the NHS. We have not got the sponsorship or grants yet
to re-create this service, but the service users are able to access our
current welfare opportunities and activrties although they are not solely
for Rough Sleepers. The OTS are remaining on contact and relying on
His Place to find funding in the future to create a new partnership
working option.
Increased engagement from the publlc.. The running of Henry Ward

through awareness of the services provided.
Welcoming all nat10naliti￿ and ethnicities into His Place:
We continue to see an increase in homeless & refugees accessing His

## INDEPENDENT EXAMINATION OF THE ACCOUNTS FOR HIS PLACE YEAR ENDED 5TH APRIL 2024.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of His Place for the year ended 5th April 2024.

## **Responsibilities and basis of report**

As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).

I report in respect of my examination of the accounts, which comprise the receipts and payments accounts.

## **Independent examiner’s statement**

I have completed my examination and confirm that no matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination that have given me cause to believe that in any material respect:

1) accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or

2) the accounts do not accord with those records

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
