Voluntary|| |||||Action. Our biggest group has been the ladies EDE party. The|| |||||building
was made available for the ladies to have a party and|| |||||celebrate
with food and other traditions
without the worry of any|| |||||outside
intrusion.
The woman therefore
not having to worry about|| |||||keeping covered and were free to celebrate this important
festival|| |||||for their faith. The refugee buddy project has also used us weekly|| |||||now for providing
space for English lessons which again has|| |||||helped
with community
cohesion as their participants
pass though
the cafe and engage with speaking
to cafe customers

members
building
on the feeling ofacceptance and|| |||||safety that were able to offer in this diverse community
of|| |||||Hastings
and St Leonards.|| ||||~|Pastor Chris Sears had recovered from his
ill health and has been|| |||||able to get back into the building
and been able to continue|| |||||supporting
the congregation
through
guidance
and Pastor|| |||||Graham
Compton has joined the team officially now after a few|| |||||months ofbeing a guest pastor. The church continued as did the|| |||||charity through
the challenges
ofPastor Chris's illness as the|| |||||governing
and church leadership
team are so strong
with their|| |||||faith, skills set and determination
and therefore
no service|| |||||regardless
of being community
based or church suffered
during|| |||||this time. Large organisations
can crumble when sudden changes|| |||||occur but the resilience that His Place Charity has shown over all|| |||||the years and the challenges
that are not man made prove that|| |||||we do have a past, present,
and future that will see us continue to|| |||||serve the communi
