Annual Report for year ending September 30[th] , 2024.
The 2024 Event
Thriplow Daffodil Weekend, the event that raises the funds administered by The Trust, took place on 16[th] and 17[th] March this year. We had an extremely good year, and a surplus of £70,000 was generated. The continued support of villagers, our landowners, and the enthusiastic visitors attending the event, combined to deliver this great result for our charities.
Meetings
Three meetings of the Trustees were held during the financial year, on 31[st] January 2024, 24[th] April 2024 and 14[th] May 2024. These meetings covered, respectively, the general business of the Trust and the distribution of funds (Grants).
Trustees
There were 5 changes to the Trustees, with Jonathan Bloom and Dan Murton stepping down, and Al Gray, Clare Ansell and Jules White joining as new Trustees.

Finance
During this year payments have been made in respect of Grants made, but not drawn down in previous years, and part and full payment of Grants made in 2024. You will note that we remain in a healthy financial situation and in an excellent position to meet our “Objects” in future years.
The Organising Committee has demonstrated that effective housekeeping helps maintain successful fundraising, ensuring the event continues to benefit good causes and support our village and community.
