## **Welcome** 

Allison thanked everyone for coming and briefly explained that the object of the AGM is to give a summary of the activities of the academic year September 2024 – August 2025, and for election of new members. 

Minutes from previous AGM were read and agreed to be accurate. 

## **STAFF REPORT -  Sept 2024 – August 2025** 

## Sept 2024 

- 30 children enrolled – 11 preschool children and 19 playgroup children 

- 5 staff, No cleaner 

- Chanelle continuing L5 apprenticeship, Delilah studying for L3 

- Chanelle had 2 weeks off in September following an operation for carpal tunnel syndrome 

- Fortnightly visits from Robot Reg 

- Allison off until after Christmas 

- AUTUMN TERM ACTIVITIES: vegetable soup, pumpkin carving , Zoo Lab, Xmas craft session with parents, , Children given books for their Christmas presents, visit from Mrs Clause 

- AGM 

- Setting visit from Michelle King at PATA to support Chanelle with onboarding new committee 

## 2025 

- Number of new starters 

- Allison return 

- Chanelle, Miranda and Vicky undertook first aid training 

- Chanelle off for 2 weeks 

- Parent questionnaire 

- Chanelle passed L5 

- Cleaner – 1 session 

- Caterpillars came as part of our Lifecycles theme 

- Transition meetings with Miss Webb 

- Student from Rednock on Work Experience 

- Sponsored obstacle course 

- We do Clearance came 

- Transition visits to school 

- Chanelle handed in notice to say she would be leaving 31[st] August 

- Summer Fayre at school – Committee ran Prize Board.  Once again, many thanks for their support 

- Lockdown incident 

- Began recruiting! 

- Bought children books and SS teddies as presents 

- Magic Marie came to entertain the children on their last day. 

- Allison updated all policies to include new safeguarding reforms around Recruitment, safer eating 



## **CHAIR’S REPORT (Anna)** 

- AGM took place November 2024.  Anna took over from Tia / Dale. 

- Successful year 

- Supported fundraising projects 

   - Prize Board at school Xmas Fayre 

   - Grant from Renishaw – thanks to Rachel for passing on the info 

   - Garden makeover – massive thanks to volunteers for their time and huge effort 

   - Summer Fayre at school 

- Liaised with school regarding introduction of Building Licence and proposed increased monthly costs (to begin Sept 2025) 

- Supported liaison with DOOSC ref. building matters 

   - New outside tap fitted 

## **Treasurers Report** – Read by Allison in Treasurer’s absence 

- Turnover of £99k 

- Final balance: **£32,719.00** increase on previous year 

## Election of Committee: 

- Anna and Lisa offered to continue in the roles 

- Rachel was proposed and seconded as new Treasurer. 

- Rosie offered to become the Nominated Individual 

- Hannah stepped down from the Treasurer’s role 

- Chanelle stepped down as Nominated Individual

|Painting /<br>Decorating|Early Years Advisor recommended repainting main room and snack room as<br>they are looking past their best. She suggests using a neutral colour as that<br>has been shown to improve learning and behaviour and reduce over-<br>stimulation.<br>School have previously given us permission to paint, but we should speak<br>with Mrs Gregory as a matter of courtesy before arranging date/volunteers.<br>Anna suggested some colours.<br>Anna will speak to DOOSC about this.|Allison<br>Anna|

charity ("Ihe Trust") for th8 year ended 3110812025.

acoounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charitiés Act 2011
("Ihe Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145{5Xb) of the AGt.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that
disGlosed below ') which gives me ¢ause to believe that in, any material
respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act- or
the accounts did not accord with the accounling records,. or
the accounts did not cornply with the applicable requirements
concerning the fomi and content of accounts set out in the Chariti8S
{Accounts and R8POrts} Regulations 2008 other than any requiremènt
that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other mallers in connection
with the examination to which attontion should be drawn in this report in
