Objects: To Any Former Student Or Students Of Dame Alice Owen's School, Potters Bar, In The County Of Hetfordshire While He, She Or They Are Respectively Studying At Either Of The Universities Of Oxford Or Cambridge Such Grants To Be Made As A Prize Or Reward For Merit To Encourage Any Such Student Who Has Made Good Progress With Their Studies Or To Assist Any Such Student To Pay For Books Or Equipment For The Purposes Of Study Or For The General Purposes Of Enabling Any Such Student To Take Full Advantage Of The Facilities Afforded By His Or Her University Which Tend To Make His Or Her Education More Complete Or To Maintain Him Or Her There. If And In So Far As Income Of The Charity In Any Year Is Not Required For Application In Accordance With The Trusts As Aforesaid, The Brewers Company, The Trustees Thereof, May Apply The Same In Making Grants In Like Manner To Any Former Student Or Students Of The Dame Alice Owen's School, Potters Bar, In The County Of Hertfordshire, While He, She Or They Are Respectively Studying At Any University In The United Kingdom.
