The Fellowship exists to honour the memory of George Eliot, to encourage others to study her work, and to put on events which involve walks, tours, study, reading groups, visits to literary venues, publications, displays and exhibitions connected with increasing appreciation of the writer by members and the public in the Uk and beyond.
Objects: A.to Advance The Education Of The General Public In The Life And Works Of George Eliot. B.for Such Other Charitable Purposes As The Council Shall Decide From Time To Time.
