Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	Past achievements include the Voicemail for the Homeless service, which benefited over 2,000 UK homeless users through improved access to support networks and was recognised in a Dragon Award from the City of London; sponsoring programmes to establish small-scale local workshops using adaptive manufacturing technology in Kenya, linked with local schools, which have helped to lift the participants and their communities out of poverty. The project to reduce transport poverty for low-income users is suspended due to Covid. Currently being organised for 2023 and beyond: A new competition with the Worshipful Company of Engineers, aiming to identify innovations that can reduce poverty.
