Introduction
The Trustees of Landford Village Hall present their report and accounts for the year
ended 31 December 2024. Landford Village Hall is registered as a charity with the
Charity Commissioners for England and Wales under charity registration number
1054017. The Village Hall is located at Lyndhurst Road, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP5 2AE.
Charity Objectives
The charity objectives are set out in the scheme rules dated 2 March 2001 and are as
follows:
To provide and maintain a village hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit
without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:
(a) Meetings, lectures and classes; and
(b) Other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation.

Summary Flnanclal Performance
During the year Landford Village Hall generated £26,034 of income from Hall Hire fees,
a 25% increase on 2023. Some of the additional income arose from aligning charges
with other facilities in the local area, but it was also pleasing to see a significant
increase in ad hoc hall hires compared with recent years.
The majority of expenditure was on repairs, maintenance and improvements to the
Village Hall. An analysis of expenditure is.provided in seclion 5. Other expenditure
included depreciation, utilities and insurance.
Net income for 2024 was £1,050 compared with the previous year's net deficit of
£7,896. The 2023 deficit was exceptional as it included £8,748 spent on two new
boilers after the heating system failed.
Charity accumulated funds increased from £106,522 at l January 2024 to £107,572 at
31 December 2024

Responsibilities and I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
basis of report charity ("the Trust") for the year ended 31 December 2024.
As the charity trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried o
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
unaer section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in, any material respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Act. or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records., or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection
with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in
order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
