ANNUAL REPORT FOR TUTSHILL COMMUNITY PRESCHOOL FOR YEAR ENDING 31 AUGUST 2024
The aims of Preschool are to encourage children to:
:-share and play with other children
:-trust new adults and accept new situations
:-experiment with all sorts of materials and activities
:-develop manipulative skills in both indoor and outdoor environments

:-express themselves through art, music, dance, stories and imaginative play

:-develop language skills

:-develop numeracy and simple mathematical ideas
:-work things out for themselves
Partnership with Parents
Parents are as much a part of preschool as their children Tutshill Community Pre-school is a non profit-making registered charity, run by committee of parents for the benefit of all the children
We are a member of the Parent and toddler Association (PATA)
Early Years Foundation Stage
We deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Year Foundation Stage
We receive REGULAR inspections by OFSTED
Special Educational Needs
We operate under the Department for Education’s code for Special Educational Needs

Every effort is made by the staff at Preschool to ensure there is no different treatment in respect of racial origins, religions, cultures, material status, languages or abilities. All children have an equal chance of participating in all activities, games and equipment
Pre-school staff
We currently have 8 permanent members of staff, 7 who work directly with the children and all hold Level 3 or above
qualifications, 2 members of staff are unqualified and 1 member of staff who manages our financial matters and is suitably qualified
