Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 Jumble Sale 2024
Another brilliant Jumble Sale organised by
Mary Kavanagh – heartfelt thanks to Mary
for leading the way again.
It was inspiring to see over 80 volunteers
getting involved, from running stalls to
serving tea and cake and helping with
security. The fantastic turnout speaks for
itself, with total takings reflecting a very
successful day!
Christmas Trees 2024
It was lovely to see so many families
buying their Christmas trees through the
school. Organised by Laurel Ives, this
initiative provides a great injection of funds.
Thank you, Laurel, for your efforts.
Table Top Sale 2025
This event was brought to life by the
creative talent of Lucy Baron Thompson.
We hosted 33 stalls, each contributing a
fee while keeping what they earned, and it
was fantastic to see even some of our
younger children giving selling a go. The
event was busy throughout, sellers were
pleased with the footfall, and there was a
wonderful selection of items to browse,
along with a welcoming space to enjoy
CASCA tea and cake.
Quiz Night & Auction 2025
The quiz was a sell-out event, with food
organised by Sandra Capelan, a welcome
drink, and a fantastic quiz she also created.
Pip Schofield and Olivia Camillo did a
brilliant job as quiz masters. This year, we
kept the auction to a silent format, without
live bidding. It was especially lovely to see
two tables of sixth formers taking part.
Thank you to Rosie Dickens for designing
the auction website and to Carenn Chu for
sourcing many of the auction items, as well
as to the sixth formers who helped prepare
the food platters.
