## **2. Structure, Governance and Management** 

The Trust is an unincorporated charity governed by a trust deed dated 28 February 1996. The trustees are appointed in accordance with the provisions of the deed. 

## **3. Objectives and Activities** 

The Trust’s objective is to provide financial assistance and support to individuals and organisations in need, in line with its charitable purposes. 

During the year, the Trust continued to support local families 

## **4. Achievements and Performance** 

In 2024, the Trust awarded grants and financial assistance totaling £13,976 to beneficiaries. Included within this are: 

- Contributions to families or individuals who are unable to pay United Synagogue membership fees 

- Support for families or individuals who require assistance with day to day living expenses 

## **5. Financial Review** 

The Trust’s income for the year was £36,428, primarily from individual donations and appeal campaigns. 

Expenditure totalled £14,192, with the majority allocated to charitable grants. 

The Trust remains in a stable financial position with reserves of £35,030 at year-end. 



## **6. Reserves Policy** 

The trustees aim to maintain reserves sufficient to meet ongoing commitments and unforeseen needs. As of 31 December 2024, the Trust held reserves of £35,030, which the trustees consider adequate. 

## **7. Plans for the Future** 

The Trust intends to continue its support for the local community and explore opportunities to expand its reach and impact in 2025. 

## **8. Statement of Trustees’ Responsibilities** 

The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees’ Annual Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
