## **SCUBA TRUST ANNUAL REPORT**

## **Registered Charity No 1053574**

## **April 2020 to March 2021**

The Scuba Trust database currently has 200 subscribers and 98 of them pay by standing order.

Our main income comes from fundraising events during the year. This year has been especially difficult due to the pandemic Covid 19, however the trustees have worked with several donors and the Scuba Tust is in a very healthy position thanks to donations and the hard work by all the volenteers.

The Trust’s public liability, employer’s liability and equipment insurances have decreased substantially since the previous year and this amounts to £1,368.00.

When the charity was allowed to return to normal activities between lockdowns a few courses were resumed within the government guidlines. However no holidays were arranged due to the pandemic.

Through the year every disabled person that has undertaken a scuba diving course has received some form of financial assistance.

The Trust has had continued expenses for the maintenance and servicing of the equipment and the running costs of the van which continued even through out the pandemic with little or no income..

2020/21 has proven to be our most challenging year ever like all charities but with the support of all the Instructors and helpers the aims of the Scuba Trust were maintained. The Trustees would like to thank all the instructors and helpers who give their time so freely and whom without the trust would not exist or be able to continue.
