Friends of Rodin9s Primory School Treosurerfs Report 1st August 2024 - 31st July 2025 AGM - 30th September 2025 Our financial year ended on the 31st July 2025 ond l am happy to report on onother successful yeor for the Friends of Rodings Primory SchooL The total profit generoted from fundroising events and donotions this yeor wos o grond totol of £20,169.84. (2023-24: £16,400) The most successful event of the yeor was once 090in the onnuol Fireworks Event recording on income of £5,073.79. This was on increase in profit of £498.11 on the previous yeor (2023: £4575.68). This ever populor event was once ogoin well supported by Rodings Primory famiLies and our tocal sponsors. The Christmos Foyre is onother annual event thot is thoroughLy enjoyed by the school community. The small irnprovements we hove mode to the event over the years have cjefinitely proved to be beneficiol- for exompLe the wristbonds for the chiLdren's gomes. The profit for this event this yeor totalled £4177.81. This wos slightLy less thon 2023, however only by £186.81 (2023: £4364.62). The third lorge event of the year was the Summer Fete. This wos another success for the Friends this yeor. were thonkfuL to have the weather on our side and the event was once ogGin enjoyed by olL The profit roised from the fete wos o totol of £4322.08.12024: £1965.19 due to bod weother). Following the success of lost yeor's Rainbow run, we ran this event again this year ond it was once again successful raising £945.52.12024: £714.19). Our other onnuaL events have oll been successful in raising extro funds: Bin90 - £ 468.49 School Discos - £ 816.17 Fllm Club - £ 649.90 {incLudin9 some profit from recyclecj rodings) Quiz night - £ 858.06 SpecioL mention to Mr Raroty for being on excellent qulz moster year on yearl This yeor we ran a new fun fundroiser for the chiLdren - Penny Wors. SpecioL mention to James for getting this initiotive off the ground. It was
thoroughly enjoyed by oll with heolthy competition between the classes. We roised £ 755.22 and we oll enjoyed an evening of counting pennies! The clothes recycling scheme thot we hove or9onised this year generated o total of £351.00. The School Lottery continues to be well supported generoting £1111.42 during the year. We have also generated £406.25 through the easy fundroisin9 scheme. A full list of the income ond expenditure from the year con be found over the poge. We hove recently invested in o shed for the school grounds in which we pLon to sell pre-loved uniform from. The shed has so far cost the friends £779.17, with some more expenditure needed to insulote the shed and disploy the uniform. This investment will be beneficiol to our school community to enoble porents to regulorly access cost effective uniform options. This yeor we once ogoin funded the Reod Write Inc phonics pocks for the reception children. Vre olso oble to purchase school bockpocks for new starters. We also funded some extra microphones for use in the school productions. Overall this acodemic yeor, our donotions to school have been minimol due to Mr Rorotvs upcoming plons to regenerote the ploy9round equipment. The plons for this are now in full swing ond we plon to moke a substantiol donotion to school for this project in the 2025/26 ocademic yeor. The closing balonce of the bonk account os of the 31st July 2025 vrfas £32,390.24. Well done to oll the Committee on another 9reot year of fundraisin9 for the school.
