2025 treasurers report

Great numbers at end of the year and stayed high going into 25/26

Most are now funded which is great and for now should be good. And from 2 has increased numbers

Unsure how the 9 month funding for all working parents will affect us going forward as children and parents will get settled into nurseries and probably not want to disrupt them by moving to a different setting

The consumables charge is really helping us … as is the donation tree, it is usually the same parents donating but it really helps.

Rent has gone up again and we did try to challenge last year but fell on deaf ears.

Other rising costs Especially minimum wage, internet, rent, Claire reduced hours while less busy – just used for holiday / sick cover in the setting. Also one staff member keft and not replaced in order to reduce costs

The 2-year funding for working families olds has boosted funding with lower numbers.

Big training costs as 7/8 of us done first aid

Fundraising not massive but all counts and we don’t have to rely on it

Staff are great at looking on vinted/charity shops etc we are also selling unwanted resources where possible.

Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). | report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, | have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
