General charitable purposes as the members of Deeside Round Table 602 determine at their absolute discretion in ordinary meetings. Deeside Round Table Charitable Trust’s the main income generating activity was the santa float during the year. It was unable to undertake a bonfire event or beer festival during the year due to Covid restrictions. 

Deeside Round Table Charitable Trust continued to responded to the communities need for care packs. The care packs were mainly provided to the vulnerable people within Deeside. **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

Deeside Round Table Charitable Trust had an incredible year in terms of generating income and making donations. The trust responded to the Covid 19 pandemic by providing care packs to vulnerable individuals, which caught the hearts of the Deeside community. Deeside Round Charitable Trust recognises the hard work of the 32 members of Deeside Round Table 602. These community minded individuals volunteer their time to enhance the lives of others

## **Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves** 

Deeside Round Table Charitable Trust hold a reserve of £6,500, which is thought to be adequate to cover the contractual obligations should a bonfire event be cancelled last minute. If it is decided that the event will no longer be held then the monies would then become distributable.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/03/2022 

**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the **basis of report** preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out  under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

**Independent** I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material **examiner's** matters have come to my attention in connection with the **statement** examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: 

 accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or  the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
