General charitable purposes as the members of Deeside Round Table 602 determine at their absolute discretion in ordinary meetings.

Summary of the objects of the charity set out in Deeside Round Table 602 is made up of community minded its governing document individuals who volunteer to raise and donate funds to enhance the lives of others primarily in their community. Deeside Round Table Charitable Trust did not undertake the main income generating activities of a santa float, bonfire event, beer festival during the year because of the Covid 19 pandemic.

Deeside Round Table Charitable Trust responded early in the pandemic to a community need for care packs. The care packs were mainly provided to the vulnerable people within Deeside. This incredible act of kindness caught the hearts of the Deeside Summary of the main community, who’s support resulted Deeside Round Table activities undertaken for Charitable Trust generating income of £33,869. the public benefit in relation to these objects Donations totalling £24,689 were paid to worthy local charitable (include within this causes. section the statutory declaration that trustees Trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity have had regard to the Commission on public benefit guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

Deeside Round Table Charitable Trust had an incredible year in terms of generating income and making donations. The trust responded to the Covid 19 pandemic by providing care packs to vulnerable individuals, which caught the hearts of the Deeside community.

Deeside Round Charitable Trust recognises the hard work of the 24 members of Deeside Round Table 602. These community minded individuals volunteer their time to enhance the lives of others.

Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves

Deeside Round Table Charitable Trust hold a reserve of £5,000, which is

thought to be adequate to cover the contractual obligations should a bonfire event be cancelled last minute.

If it is decided that the event will no longer be held then the monies would then become distributable.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/03/2021.

Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the basis of report preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material examiner's matters have come to my attention in connection with the statement examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:  accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or  the accounts do not accord with the accounting records

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
