Objects: (A) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Laindon West And The Surrounding Communities As Defined By Their Respective Boundaries (Hereinafter Called The "Area Of Benefit") Without The Distinction Of Sex Or Of Political Religious Or Other Opinion By Associating With Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations And Inhabitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Intrests Of The Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure -Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants. (B) To Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre (Hereinafter Called "The Centre) Within The Area Of Benefit And To Subsequently Maintain And Manage, Or To Co-Operate With One Or More Statutory Authorities In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities And Pastimes Promoted By Or In Conjuction With The Association In Furtherance Of The Above Objectives.
