Asachievedwe look throughback our departments, over 2022, we caneventsreflectand onSundayhow gatherings.much has beenGod during the yearof the charity has blessed us and enabled us to reach our communitiesas with. His. love and we are so thankful to everyone who gave their finance, time, energy, prayer and resources to make 2022 a significant year in the life on Now Church. Our Langold building was very busy throughout the week with the many activities and services we run for the local community. Sunday services grew as people discovered Now Church for the first time. Two well attended and fruitful Alpha Courses were hosted during 2022 and a full children and youth programme also ran throughout the week. During the August summer holidays we ran a Stay and Play holiday club for primary school aged children and their families which proved very popular again. Now Gold is our monthly senior citizens lunch and we also hosted a separate monthly community breakfast. Weekly events such as Now Tots and Bible Studies meant the Church was open most days of the week. In response to the cost of living crisis that became a major concern for many in our locality during 2022, we launched a community grocery called the Food Hub and also the Lounge where people could use the Church building and café during the week to keep warm when the cost of heating their homes became too expensive in the autumn and winter. The year ended with a packed Christmas programme in December as usual with the Carols by Candlelight service in the Church.
