Objectives and Charitable Activities

The objectives of the charity are :

  1. To advance the Christian Faith

  2. To relieve sickness and financial hardship and promote good health by the provision of funds, goods or services

  3. To advance education

Activities and Achievements

The Church has continued to be actively involved in connecting with the community via coffee mornings, children’s events and local school involvement, etc. As a consequence there has been an increase of regular attendees at the Sunday service

with people becoming involved as Church community. Itis envisaged that the progressive trend will continue.

Missionary Giving

The missions giving for the year was £10,585.00 equating to 26% of our income.

The Building

LED lighting has been installed throughoutthe building and also new carpet throughout. The building remains in a good state of repair.

The General Offerings

The general offerings have increased from an average of £530 per week for year ending 2023 to £688 per week this financial year.

An independent examination of the Accounts has been carried out by Luke Silver of Accountancy & Taxation Services.

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

Basis of independent examiner’s report

My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts a ‘true and fair view’ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

ACTIVITIES REVIEW

The financial results are set out in the enclosed accounts.

The principal activity throughout the year under review was that of the advancement of the Christian faith.

Facilities for public worship (Christian context), bible study, prayer meetings, children and youth activities within the context of a registered child protection policy. Financial support to various world wide Christian missionaries.
