Governing Document is a Trust Deed, dated 19[th] May 2016. 

The Original Resolution was filed at Assemblies of God Property Trust, 106/114 Talbot Street, Nottingham NG1 5GH. 

This has now been replaced with a new Trust Deed and Constitution, dated as above, held by Mansfield Pentecostal Church and registered through Geldard Solicitors of Derby with the Charity Commission. 

New Trustees are nominated by the existing Trustees 

## **Objects of the Charity are:** 

- i. The advancement of the Christian Religion by the proclamation and furtherance of the Gospel of God concerning His Son Jesus Christ the Lord and the preaching and teaching of the Word of God by the Church in accordance with the Statement of Faith of Mansfield Pentecostal Church as approved by the church council from time to time. 

- ii. Such other charitable purposes as shall further the attainment of the above objects of the Church or any of them. 

- iii. The furtherance of the other charitable work of the Church consistently with the Statement. 

- iv. The furtherance of the work of Mansfield Pentecostal Church and the promotion of spiritual teaching and the maintenance of the Statement and the promotion of religious observances that manifest the Statement. 



## **Activities and Achievements:** 

- ❖ The Charity has achieved its objectives as follows: 

- ➢ Tuesday Evening – Online Bible Study 

- ➢ Friday afternoon – Prayer meeting 

- ➢ Sunday School – Children’s work 

- ➢ ‘All Stars’ Children’s meeting on Wednesday evenings. 

- ➢ Youth Fellowship (called ‘The Point’) on Friday evenings 

- ➢ Welcome Hour meeting on Wednesday afternoon 

- ➢ Little Glimmers for pre-school children and parents/carers held each Thursday morning from 9.15am to 10.30am. 

- ➢ Other regular services – Sunday Morning Worship and Communion. This is livestreamed on YouTube for those unable to attend the actual meeting. 

- ➢ Café Church – less formal Sunday Evening service once a month with refreshments 

- ➢ Community Work – This helps needy families in the area. 

- ➢ Hope Haven Café on Thursday 12.00pm – 2.00 pm. Free drinks, cakes and snacks for anyone who wishes to come. Reaching out to local people, especially those trapped in addiction. Food parcels also supplied. 

- ➢ Life Groups – These are home group fellowships where the Bible is studied, along with discussion and prayer, and relationships built. 

- ➢ Youth Life Group – Home group with discussion, Bible study and prayer specifically for young people. 

The Welcome Hour is a weekly meeting. Tea and light refreshments are also provided free of charge. Transport is provided for those who have none. There is a Christmas Dinner once a year. Missionaries and charities supported in 2024 were: 

- ➢ Beacon Project (local homelessness charity) 

- ➢ New Life Christian Centre in Gambia 

- ➢ Instep Ministries (supporting missionaries) 

- ➢ The Crossroads Trust (local homeless charity) 

- ➢ The Koby Foundation in Ghana 

Sunday School is held each Sunday morning during the Worship and Communion service, in a separate room from the main Sunday morning worship, and works very closely with the All Stars (which is held each Wednesday evening from 5 pm – 6:30 pm) and is a combination of Bible stories/quizzes/singing and games, although with a greater emphasis on teaching than the All Stars. 

The Point is held each Friday evening.  The aim is to help in the spiritual growth of the youth by gathering together and discussing topics which are of interest and concern to young people. 

The format of the Little Glimmers group is one hour’s play for the children, whilst parents relax with other church members. 

Missionary Department – Regular giving by the Church Members to various overseas projects. In 2023 the following missionaries and organisations were supported: 

- ➢ All Nations for Christ Bible Institute and support for two Bible students there in Nigeria 

- ➢ Central African Missions International

I report on the accounts of the Trust 31 D￿mber 2024 which are set out on page 2 to 3.

The charivs trustees are res￿nsIble for the preparation of the Accx)unts. The Chariivs Trustees Cf>nsider
that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 ( the charities Act) and
that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibilty to :_
i. examine the Accounts under Section 145 of the 2011 Act
ii. to follchv the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity
Commission under ￿tion 145(5) of the 2011 Act; and
iii. to slate whether particular matters have come to my attention

My examination was carried out in accordarKe with the General Directions given by the Charity
Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual
items or disclosures in the accounts, and the seeking of explanab'ons from you as Trustees conceming any
such matters. The procedures undertaken do not prowde all the evidence that would be required in an
audit and, consequently, no opinion is given as to whether the a(xounts present a "true and fair view, and
the report is Ilmlted to those matters set out in the statement below.

comply with the accounting requirements of the Companies Act 2006

Practi￿. Accounting and Reporting by Charities (revised 2005) have not
