With it
being so close to our previous meeting there were not many updates only
that the Church was now on the EA church finder. Apart from that there
were no other matters arising. The rest of the minutes will be discussed at
the next Elders meeting scheduled for 7th September 2021.

DT read and commented on the Main Account and Community Account
details. The main takeaway is that Covid-19 as well as losing some members
had an impact on the Church finances. There are no concerns at present
and things should improve when things open more which should help.

BT wanted to thank DT for stepping up with the treasurer role during the
year and BT thanked TC for helping as secretary.
BT nominated DT as Treasurer and MT nominated TC as Secretary for
another year.
DT accepted the treasurer role and TC accepted the secretary role for
another year.

TC advised on current members. BT advised ET may want to change
membership conditions in future so future members will be considered
once that has been completed.

TC advised during this year the elders list has changed due to unforeseen
circumstances. John McConnell, Sylvia McConnell, Trevor Davidson, and
Wendy Davidson have resigned as elders and members. This was
documented on the 1st of June 2021 Elders meeting. This has been
highlighted on our AGM minutes.

BT mentioned that if we hire the Church out to external groups the groups
must be CRB checked, have a child protection policy and insurance. BT
advised once we start hiring the Church, she will make sure groups have a
child protection policy.

BT advised Sunday School is currently in a transition period and we now
have new material to use.

BT advised the Toddler group is going very well. We have new people
starting in September. continue.

MT advised the youth is going well. MT advised that the next stage is for
varied activities and bring back Ignite. MT advised the future looks bright.
SC advised that now the youth cupboard has been tidied there are extra
things that can be used. SC advised that maybe in October we can extend
from 1 hour to 1.5 hours for the Friday session. Ignite can be done after the
Youth Club finishes with optional for people to stay.

BT advised there are another 3-4 weddings this year. Next year (so far)
there are 8 weddings booked.
DT advised that the only concern with weddings is a limited collection being
received at present. Things might improve as restrictions ease.

John and Sylvia McConnell have resigned as Trustees during the 2020-21
year. They have been replaced by Mark Taylor and Emma Taylor. Their
resignation from the fellowship was documented on the 1st of June Elders
Meeting.
The Trustees for the charity are now: David Taylor, Barbara Taylor, Emma
Taylor, Mark Taylor.
No action required.

DT is negotiating new contracts that are due for renewal: electricity this
year and gas next year.
