REPORT OF TIIF IIYDEPENDENT AUDITORS TO THE MEMBERS OF
This risk increases the more that compliance with a law OT regulation is removed from the evejts and transa¢tions
refleeted in the fmancial siatern¢ttts, as we will be less likely to beconie aware of instances of non-conipliance. The risk is
also greater regarding irregulariÉie5 ocCu￿1ng due to fraud rather thart error, as fraud involvgs intentional wnccalnienL
forgery, ¢ollu$ion, omission or misrepresentatioii
A fiffther description of our responsibilities lor the audit of the financÉal stthments is located on the Finaiicial Reporting

Our respon$lbilAtles for the audlt of the nnAnelAI sthtsmellts
Our objectives are to obtain reasonable assurance kibout whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material
misstatement, whether due to fraud or ¢m)r, and to 155ue a Report of the Jndep¢nd¢iJt Auditors that includes our opinion.
Reasonable I￿uranCe is a high level of assurance, but 15 not a guarantee that an audit conducted in accordance with ISAS
(UK) will always detect a material inisstatement when it exists. Misstatements can arise from fraud or error and are
considered material if, individually OF in the aggregate. they could reasonably b¢ expected to influence th¢ e¢oftomi¢
decisions of users tsken on the basis of these financial statements.
The extent to which our procedures capable of detecting irregulariti¢s, including fraud is detailed below..
B&sed on our Unde￿tandIng of the charity and IL8 activities. and thtDU8h dis¢ussion with the truste&s and manag¢menL we
ideniified the principat risks of material mlssthteinent both at the financial statement level and at the ￿sertIon level.
We considered these risks in the light of various f8Ctors including the l¢v¢l of complexity, subjectivity. uncertainty,
potential mknageinent bias, fraud, InatL"rI￿[ty and any other relevatit factors.
We considered the ext¢nt to which these
would have a material impact on the financi&l statements {￿d designed our audit work awordingly.
In identifying and a5sessin8 risks of material misststement in respe¥t of irregularities, including fraud
non-coinpliance with laws And regulations, our procedures included the followin8:
- We obtained an understftnding of the legal find regulatory framewo￿ that the charlty opera*s I￿ focusing on those law8
and regulations that had & inateria] effect on the financial statements or that had a fundamental effect on the operatlons of
the clwity froin our professional and 8¢¢tor experienL*.
We perfonned analytical procedure5 to identify any unusual or unexpeeted relationships that inay Indlcate risks of
matcrial misstatement due to fraud, and reviewed significont or unusual transactions to idenlify their underlying
supporting rationale
We inspected the minutes of Ineetings of those charged wsth gover.nanLe, and made direct enquiries of management And
the board of trustees concerning the charity's poli¢ies and procedures relating to;
o Identifyin& evaluatin& and complying with laws and regulattons and Htheth¢r th¢y were awar¢ of any instances of
iioii-eompliance:
o Del￿ting and reSp￿Iding to tlie risks of fi￿d l￿d whether tl)ey have knowledge of actual, suspectsd, or alleged
o The intemal controls established to mitigate risks related to fraud or non-compliaii¢e with laws and regulations.
In addressing the risk of fraud through nianageinent override of controls, we tested the approprlateness ofjoumal entries
and other adjustsncnts, a8sessed wheth¢r the judgements made in making accounting ¢51imale8 were indicative of a
potsntial bias and tested SiEnific&nt transactions that were unusual or those outside the llom]al coui'se of business.
We also
- disciissed and reviewed the oharity's Iw$in¢86 model and forward planning to wess going concern
¢ominunicated applicable laws and regulations throughout th¢ audii team gmd r¢inained alert to any indications of
non-compli&nce throughout the audlt.
reviewed th¢ flnancial statement disclosures al￿ tested these to supporting dociinientation lo assess compliance with
ppjicable laws and r¢gulalion5.
- Carried out substantive testing on inGome and expenditure
- Re-perforn]ed reconcilialioi)s of coThtrol accounts, and re¢alcul&ted itenis such as depreciation
Because of the inherent liinitations of an audit, there is a risk that we will not detect all ttyegularities, including those
leading to a material misslatsllent tn the finoncial statements or non-complian¢¢ with regulation.
