Activities

The project aims to provide a completely free educational and leisure based activity for children, adults and community groups from all walks of life. The project also acts as a crime diversion sceme for young people.The project provides a 52 foot narrow boat that can take a maximum 12 passengers including 2 wheelchair users.

Objects: To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities, In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Persons Mainly In The East Of Manchester And Greater Manchester Areas Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life. To Advance For The Public Benefit In Partnership With Criminal Justice Agencies, The Protection Of People And Property From, And The Prevention Of Criminal Acts.
