ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE Chairfs report There were a lot of changes in Grimsby in 2024. During 2024, we officially changed the nam8 ofthe Grimsby Campus from Willows Community Church, to Generations Church Grimsby with the Charily Commission. We have continued to grow our community work throughout the year. Our community pantry and warni spaces projects have continued to thrive, with well over 100 members of the panlry. In November 2024, we restarted sérving hot meals which has been popular with those in the community. We were awarded various pots of funding from N.E Lincs Council (Sector Support) throughout the year which has allowed us to keep the pantry well stocked with food. Throughout 2024, we ran out Route 96 youth group and were able to move from monthly to every other week. We are now regulady getting be￿een 25 and 35 youth attending each session. The Unifom Swapshop was put on hold during 2024 as we were struggling to find volunteers to run the project as we were focussing on other communily projects. Neon Toddlers ran throughout 2024 with great success, and we are regularly seeing 10-20 families each week from the local ommunity. Neon toddlers continued to run 'The Big Breakfast, where we were able to offer breakfast for both the toddler and parents each month. In 2024 we installed a new woker in the kitchen, which meant we were able to serye hot meals. We also focussed on making sure that the building statutory Maintenan￿ and testing was up to date. This included work on the alami system, fire safety, electrical work and gas safety testing. We intend to complete the work in 2025. We also saw a large increase in the number of young people attending our Sunday services this year, with more than half of our weekly attendance being young people. During our Sunday church seNices, we have brought over speakers from out Louth church to our Grimsby Campus, along with months where wè have brought specific themes to our Grimsby congregation, bringing specific themes to Sundays, such as the 'Bring it all baGk' series, where we studied the basics of the Christian faith. Purposes and activities Generations Church exists to: Build the Church Generations Church is intentional about bL¢ilding the local church, il has been said that the local church is the hope of the world. This kind of church doesn't just happen, but when people become intentional about it, there are no limits to what can be achieved. How wlll we do this? As a church, we come together and meet to passionately worship God corporately, believing that He will give us direction as individuals as well as a church. There will be opportunity to grow together through our discipleship and mentorshlp programmes, being a church where we do all we can to help one another. We want to grow a church where we work together in creating a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging everyone to come and find lifel Equlp tho People Here at Generations Church we believe in the Bible and we believe in teaching its truth in a relevant way. God's word has principles for us to live by and apply on a daily basis. Our teaching comes through example. inspiration and life stories that have the power to impact people where they are at. We aim to offer a relaxed environment, giving room for inleraction and di$¢ussion. We are a family, and need to learn how to interdct as a family should.

GENERATIONS CHURCH GRIMSBY TRUSTEES REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31ST DECEMBER 2024 ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE Reach the Communlty We believe we live in a great town and community and as a church, our heart is to serve that community in any way we can. Our programmes are created with seNice in mind and we tske people just as they are, believing God will do the rest. We count it an honour and privilege to serve our town. We love where God has placed us and believe we are here to make a difference. In the days in which we live, the Church has to become a practical resource for Ihe community in which it stands. Our aim is always to see a need and do a15 we can to help in meeting that need. Empower the Future Generations Church has a great futurel We passionately believe this. The deGisions we make today will take us into the fijture God has for us, each individual has a unique purpose and it is our desire to help each person tap into that plan and live it. In everything we do we want to provide for our future. Whether that is with our building plans or in our discipleship and community programmes. We want to equip future generations to cary on what we are currently doing, and achieving more Ihan we are currently se8ing. Programmes Our Neon toddler group is still growing and although we lost some families as their children went to school we also gained a lot more in September as the new academic year began. The team led by Diane Cathright are doing a fantastic job and one of the highlights in the month is our Neon Toddler Big Breakfast. This is where families can come and sit and have a breakfast provided by our team, (hey can chat, play. craft together. The atmosphere is amazing and the families from our local town who attend appreciate all the hard work th6 team put in every single week. Our Sunday children's programme continues to thrive with more children attending every week it seems. It has been exciting to see the longevity of care that is given to families in Generations church and this is seen especially as we watch our children move up through our programmes. This year we saw our team rise also as in the month of May and November the team led the programme with our Children's pastor taking on other responsibilities. It is so good to watch the team create and execute an incredible programme which they have written. It shows the strength of local church where two of our most senior leaders who are now in their twenties have attend8d our toddler group, then kids programme. youth programme and now lead in a number of different seltings within our church. In 2024, we began running a Wednesday evening group, once a month, whiGh is called our Reach group. This meets on the third Wednesday of each month. Initial this was a social meeting fortea or coffee and a chat. This has been well received and we plan to continue running Ihis in 2025. On the other Wednesday evenings ofthe month, we are offering group from our other church campus in Louth, which people can access. Next year, we plan to offer more midweek groups based in Grimsby. We continued to rLAn our Community Pantry and are seeing Ihe numbar of people access the project increase. We now have over 100 members and our number each week are steadily increasing. Towards the end of 2024, we restarted ourwarm spaces project and have been able to serve hot meals to people in the local community. Volunteers Generations Church continues to have a strong volunteer base, whlch is growing year on year. We have over 20 active volunteers, and some ofthem are involved in helping to run a multiple of programmes and evènts on a weekly basis. In February 2024 at our AGM wé set out the vision of transitioning some of our leaders into new roles. On behalf of the trustees, we want to thank all thosa who give their time to volunteer. We could not continue without them and we are so proud to be building a church where its partners have a heart to seNe and to build a strong church. Influence In 2024 the influence of Generations Church continued to grow. Pastor Jo Read continued her role on the area team for Assemblies of God GB IAOG) which involves meeting with other church leaders and making sure things are working well on behalfof AOG. She is overseeing churches in Lincolnshire and North Nottinghamshire. Our youth team regularly sees over 20 young peop5e on a Friday nlght and they come for evenings full of fun, games, music, discussion, food the list just goes on. Our team works so hard to give the young people in our community a space that is safe and a great environment to come and see their friends. The team is stronger than ever and we are seeing ouryoung people rise up more and more to run things under the supervision of the Youth Pastor from our Louth church {Liz Hilton), our Grimsby Campus Pastor (James Cathrightl and also Dani Dodd. In February 2024 we launched'unleashed. which was instead of our mission week in April at our Louth Church. It was a youth camp at home for ouryouth and we took over a group of Youth from our Grimsby church to aC￿sS this event. During the weekend there were activities, seminars. worship events and on the Sunday moming our youth took the whole moming service and it was brilliant. We love seeing all our youth generation can do. and this weekend will definitely be onè we will repeat in 2025.

GENERATIONS CHURCH GRIMSBY TRUSTEES REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31ST DECEMBER 2024 ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE We took a group of yOLsng people on a residential trip in summer at Ceafn Lea in Mid Wales called 'Thrive'. They loved it and all Came back with stories of all they got up to and our leaders loved meeting with other leaders from different youth groups around the country which has seen our team influenced greatly as well as giving their expertise to help other leaders in their roles. Our bounce day in Grimsby happened again on 8th June 2024 and again we over a hundred from our communty attend! There were inflatables, ice creams, face painting, and lots of chatter and getting to know our community. Pastoral Support As James and Diane Cathright are now in their third year as Campus Pastorfor Generations Church Grimsby, ourteam continues to care for those in our community brilliantly well. Also this year as our Wednesday programmes have changed we have brought back the small groups. James and Diane have handed over our 18-30's age 9roup to Abbie Baldock, there is still lots of social evenings building relationships and caring for them. Once a month we do a family service which is followed by 'Stay and Play,, wher8 families can stay at church for a picnic, with games and activities for our children and young people, such as inflatables, table tennis and badminton. Public Beneflt We have referred to the guidance contained in the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit and compliéd with section 17{51 of the 2011 Charities act when reviewing our aims and objectives and in planning our futuro activities. In particular, the Trustees consider how planned activities will contribute to the aims and objectives they have set. FINANCIAL REVIEW Reserves policy The trustees have reviewed the charity's needs for reserves in line with the guidance offered by the charity's mortgagor and aim to set aside a minimum of £1,700. This sum approximates to four months fixed overheads. This is deemed sufficient as income is received on a weekly basis and is regularly monitored. The trustees believe that reserves at this level should ensure Ihe charity can run efficiently and meet the naeds of the beneficiaries. PLANS FOR THE FUTURE 2025 is shaping up to be a big year for us. There is all the planning about progressing leaders into new roles and creating space to dream ofwhat Generations Ghurch will look like beyond 2025. New opportunities to influence new communities as we allow our team to be released into new things so that we can continue to expand and grow. It's great to see such a huge impact can be made by what is currently a small local church. STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT Governing document The charity is an unincorporated entity which is governed by Trust Deed dated 6 April, 2006 as amended on 10 November, 2022.
