Activities

Reading by Colour raises awareness of Irlen Syndrome. We also give advise and find trained screeners to screen where possible. We are continually trying to raise funds to pay for children who have Irlen to have further assessment and the correct filter colour

Objects: (1)to Provide Funding For Students In Full Time Education In The Borough Of Gravesham, Who Otherwise Would Not Be Able For Reasons Of Family Financial Hardship, To Take Advantage Of Available Treatment For Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome Or To Have Consultations And Filters As Necessary. (11)provide Funding For Trained Teachers To Become Screeners. (111)to Increase Awareness Of Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome In The Area. (1v)to Monitor And Audit The Progress Of Such Students.
