Achievements and Performance
Our vision statement and core values all remain the same and we have seen further growth in our participation as a church in Assemblies of God activities this year such as attending the National Conference, 3D Missions conference, Area days, Zone days, Hub meetings etc.
Our Mission and Call has been to preach God’s holy word to this generation in a language they can understand, to preach the cross, to preach salvation in Christ alone. ‘Our town needs a Bible believing, gospel preaching, Holy Spirit filled church fit for the 21[st] century. In the season ahead we need to truly be
1
focussed on seeing people saved and discipled. This is our vision.’
Fasting, Prayer and Bible Reading
We remain faithful to the teachings of the Bible in all our affairs; seeking guidance from our LORD as the church grows. Gathering together for Bible reading and prayer is a focus of our church growth.
Leadership Development
Champions Church is committed to continuing leadership development and discipleship. This year, we have seen a continuation of mentorship and a commitment to programmes for growth in our ministry, such as Khevra.
Reaching Out
Champions Church is committed to sharing the Good News of our LORD and has continued to carry out Mission training to support this.
Reaching the vulnerable
Champions Church supports the wider community in formal ways through our Christians Against Poverty Job Club and also through our Compassion child sponsorship.
Youth Ministry and Mini Champions Ministry
The church has seen significant growth in our ministry for families and young people. This is through weekly activities and national conferences organised through Assemblies of God.

Future Plans
We have approached Assemblies of God and others to help us look at transitioning to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. We also plan to continue to update and add to our policies and procedures.
It is our intention to review the formal structures of our charity. In doing so, we will provide a model to maintain our Biblical and Pentecostal distinctiveness as a church who holds fast to holy scripture and preaches the Gospel of Our Lord
