Chari
No. 1052018
The trustees that served during the financial year 1.4.2021 to 31.3.2022 were Pastor Linz
Alexander Ichairperson/Minister}, Miss Stacey Bains {Treasurer/Elderl and Mrs Vicky Goma
(Secretary & Elder). Trustees are appointed by the Minister and the Elders. AOG Property Trust,
Nottingham remained Holding Trustees for the building. The legal structure for the charity is an
unincorporated association. Our governing document is the Assemblies of God New Model Deed
Trust.
Our principal aim of the charity is the advancement of the Christian faith and desplte Covid and
not being able to meet in the building as a worship community we continued in our efforts to
make Jesus known and disciple believers by various programmes via Zoom, and other forms of
social media. We also met in smaller groups for fellowship. teaching and prayer. We continued to
support members of our Kids Club and Youth Club with more home visits and we were able to start
outdoor activities and events for both them and their families. During the year our building
continued to be usefully deployed to hold freezers supporting our Your Farmer Foodbank, which
this year was more focused on meeting the needs of struggling families in Warwick rather than
going further afield into the county also. We also continued to run, from the church building, our
second-hand white goods and furniture provision to further support families. However, as society
began to open up again after Covid and ourselve5 desperately wanting to recommence our
children and youth clubs, our community café and parent and toddler groups etc as well as being
able to meet face to face as a worshipping community we found ourselves to be in a predicament
as the building was now being occupied as a Foodbank and Second-Hand White Goods/Household
Items Provision, whose services were still very much needed. In order to get around this we
decided the best way was to rent storage space to store good donations of second-hand
household items and white goods and also convert our cellar in order to make it into a useable
space. As people were getting back to work again, we also felt that a Community Shop would be
the way forward to help with the cost-of-living crisis yet avoid people becoming dependant as they
could contribute as they were able. The early part of the year was therefore spent fundraising and
the latter part saw the commencement of the artual building work in the cellar which was as good
as completed by the end of the year. By March 2022 we were able to recommence many of the
services already mentioned and we were now able to start new ones namely the Community Shop
and also a ladies fitness club which also occupies cellar space as well as the having freezer space to
support our Your Farmer Foodbank which by the end of the year was more simply operating from
just two locations the church and also from our previously set up collection point - the sweet
shop situated in Warwick town centre.
During the year our dedicated volunteers continued to maintain weekly visits to the elderly, the
lonely and those known to us with poor mental health to support them with food provision where
there was a need but also just to continue providing a welfare check as Covid left many feeling
isolated and some had lost confidence socialising and some had lost mobility after many months of
lock down and fearing going out.
Youth Workers continued visits into the local secondary school to present courses such as the
Mental Health Resilience Course called Strong to young people who were struggling. We also
worked with another charity Transforming Communities and the five Church of England Churches

in the district to help provide food hampers during the holidays for children eligible for free school
meals. We also continued the charl￿$ commitment to other organisations based in Warwick
District and surrounding areas that have a similar ethos to ourselves by making financial
contributions to them.
Without doubt the chariws success was setting up the first community shop in the area and
setting up a fitness club to SUPPOrt ladies on low income as well as being able to start back our
many Services and being able to actually worship together again in person.
The charity's finances were used to fund the aforementioned activities and to support the upkeep
of its building. With respect to the reserves in the Charitys bank accounts these were carried
forward into the next financial year in order to meet planned expenditure and imminent bills.
