YEAR END REPORT 2023
Family Service I Sunday in the month is a great time to share with children and parents in the servlce. We involve
everyone although it is geared to children for the most part. Giving the adults the opportunity to see what the children
enjoy about church.
We hosted several movies throughout the yearthat were enjoyed by people of all ages.
February- Movie was called 'WONDER' and shared the message that everyone is important and loved by God.
March Movle- I Still Believe told the Story of a musician who re-found his falth.
April Movie STRANGE WORLD a Disney animated movie.
October movie- OVERCOMER told and encouraged the truth that we can and are overcomers in Chrlst.
November movie- THE ONE I WROTE FOR YOU
The Pastor conducted several funerals throughout the year offering comfort and encouragement to famlly and friend
during thelr time of bereavement.
Good Friday we had a Supper together and shared the @good Friday Lesson and broke bread together.
Easter Service was relevant to the story of Christs death and resUr￿¢t10n- after the seNlce the children had an easter
egg hunt around the Play Centre, great funl
Church outing- Summer Day out at Whltby- Includin8 Fish and chips
October- Light Party this is now an annual event for us sharing the alternatlve to Halloween and givlng familie5 the
atmosphere of fun, games and food and fellowship wlth lots of dancing and lights tool
Remembrance Service -very important to remember and reflect the Sacrifi￿ of so many durin8 war and conflict.
WE also held special Mothers Day and Fathers Day services.
Carol services- we held both a morning and evening services singing traditional Carols and modern carols and sharing
the Christmas story.
The Play Centre hosted events to meet Santa- T fime with Santa.
WARM SPACE and Lunch- during the colder months we offered our building {including the Play Centre) as a place for
people to come, connect and keep warm.
Guest speakers from Destiny Church Wakefield were a great addition to our *rvices as well as being an encouragement
to the congregation.
FOOD BANK- contlnues to provide much needed sUPPOrt to many people within the communlty we have given out
hundreds of food parcels throughout the year and helped bring comfort and companionship to so many who are
isolated and lonely. Our army of volunteers continue to assist in this great ministry.
Christmas Joy
Over 2,000 presents were sent out to children and families. Meetlng the need in our community also
distributed 170 Food Hampers
Other Charltles
We supported (collected Clothes) for Uniform Exchange
We also donated items to Rainbow Babies
Our Play Centre continues to meet the need of 'a place to go and a place for fun wlth the opportunity to
connect and share the gospel tool
We are seeing new people vlslt almost regularly and recently had a couple in their 40's
gave thelr lives to Jesusl To which we praise God for and are believing for more souls
this year- fruit for our labours I
The trustees continue to oversee our charity work and meet regularly throughout the year.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ('Ihe Trust") for the year ended 31 MARCH 2024
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act
2011 ("the Acr).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in Carrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
