Activities and achievements of the charity during the year
This is the general report for the Calander and Financial Year 2023 (January 1st- December 31st)
The year of 2023 was another year of cont&nuing to build a "Churth Farnlv wfth the members of Lrfe Church
Bollington. The coffee mornin& and varlous evenlng courses we ran, usually proceeded wlth food, helped to bring
stronger sense of togetherness. The work of Linklng Lfves In the communlty also helped connect people
together.
In partlcular, 2023 saw the start of a team that met each Monday evenlng and from thls a future projert for 2024
was birthed to visit every IK*usehold in our communlty to engage with the famlly and see what we could do to
encourage them.
As well as these new Inltiative4 our weekly church meetln8s contlnued to draw people together for worship,
teachln8 and communlty, a8aln some of these events were followed by food. a great way to deepen church famlly
relatlonshlps.
Once agaln the people of the church generou51y 5UPPOrted our partner mlsslon organlsatlon World of Worth wlth
regular donations from the coffee mornin& the church itself and also personal 8ivin8 from members of the
church.
The bulldlng work itself slowed a Ilttle In 2023, as the project of redevelopment drew to a completlon. The
flnanclal outlay has now reduced and mostly small maintenance and finishlng works have been carried OLrt.
The year of 2024 is bein8 approached wlth enthusiasm from the church as they look forward to really growlng the
members through the door to door mlsslon and a new Heallng and Prayer mlnistry.
Llfe church could not exlst without the commltment and hard work of the volunteers that falthfully make thlngs
happen. These volunteers span very practlcal help. through hospitsllty, accounts, medla and sound, hostln&
vlsltln& cleanlng and work partles. Much credlt and pralse should be given for another year of incredlble effort
and ener8y from all who contrlbute both seen and unseenl
