Objects: (1) To Foster Patriotism And Good Citizenship For The Benefit Of The Public At Large By The Construction And Maintenance Of A Monument To Commemorate Those Civilian Citizens Of London Who Lost Their Lives As A Result Of Enemy Action During The Second World War Such Memorial To Be Known As "The London Memorial" (2) To Advance The Education Of The Public (Whether By Way Of Promoting Supporting Funding And Mounting Public Exhibitions And Lectures Or Otherwise) Concerning The Part Played By London And Londoners And The History Of London During The Second World War (3) To Relieve Persons Who Were Resident Or Temporarily Resident In London During The Second World War And Their Dependants Provided Always Such Persons And Their Dependants Are Now In Conditions Of Need, Hardship Or Distress (4) For Such Other Charitable Purposes For The General Benefit Of The Citizens Of London As The Trustees See Fit
