**Activities:** The charity seeks to combat the social isolation experienced by many lonely older people. It holds a weekly meeting run by volunteers at which social activity and entertainment takes place. An important feature of the day is a hot meal provided at lunchtime. New members are referred by health visitors and social services via Age Concern.
