The charity's trustees ¢cThider thal an a￿Irt is not required for this year
urKlef sert￿n 43(2) of tr￿ Charities Act 1993 (Ihe 1993 Act) and that an
independent examination is needed.
It is my reskK￿Sib11ty to:
examine the actounts under Secti(￿ 43 of th8 1993 Act,
to follow the procedures lald d(ywn in the general Direction8 given by the
Charity Commission (under section 43(7Xb) of the 1993 Act. and
to state *th8ther partlcxAar mattern have to my attentbn.
Bas1• of Ind•p•nd•nt My examination was caniod In acc4Ndance with genar81 Directions given
oxamlnor's statomgnt by the Charity Commission. An examination indud8s a revi8w of the
accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with those records. It also indudes consideration of any unusual
items or disclosures in the ￿coUnts. aThJ seeking explanations from the
trustees conceming any such matter5. The procedures undertaken do not
provKle all the wdence that WOU￿ be required in an audit. arKI
conseqwnty no cpinK)n is given as to whether the accounts presènt a 'tru8
and fair. view and the rep￿t bs limlted to those matter5 sel out in the
st81ement below.
In connecllon with my examination. no matter has come to my attention
1. which gives m8 reas<Thble (aus8 to believe that in, any m8t8rial r8specL
the requirements:
to keep accounting records in accordance with section 41 of the 1993
Act; and
lo prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and
mply wilh the accounting requirements of the 1993 Act
have not beèn met . or
2. to which. in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a
proper urKlerstanding of the accounts to be roached.
