**Objects:** TO MAINTAIN FACILITIES FOR CARERS, WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF NORTH TYNESIDE; TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF CARERS WHO TAKE ON AN UNPAID CARING ROLE, PROVIDING PRACTICAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO ANYONE WHO THROUGH ILLNESS, DISABILITY, MENTAL HEALTH OR SUBSTANCE MISUSE PROBLEMS COULD NOT MANAGE WITHOUT SUCH SUPPORT; TO RELIEVE, AND TO ENCOURAGE AND ASSIST IN THE RELIEF OF CARERS IN NEED AS A RESULT OF THEIR CARING RESPONSIBILITIES BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AMONG CARERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC

**Activities:** The organisation aims to improve the quality of life for carers in North Tyneside by supporting them through a high quality service, shaped by carers' needs and is accessible to all carers. Activities include: information & advocacy, emotional support, support groups, training for carers, counselling, carer assessments, the provision of a breaks and activities service and family support.
