The trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2024. The
trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice
applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the
UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January 2019).

To advance the islamic faith in accordance with the doctrine of the shia athna ashari.
To advance the ¢ducation of the shia muslim communily.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
The charity also achieved significant rcsults in using its funds in the most cost effective way possible. This is reflccted
by the retained funds and the net assets owned by the charity which can be expend¢d on the charity's forthcoming
proj¢¢ts.

Independent examiner's report to the trustees of Al-Qualm Islamie Mission
I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of Al-Quaim Islamic Mission (the Trusl) for the year
ended 31 December 2024.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparalion of the accounts in accordance with the
requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,).
I report in respect of my examination of ihe Trust's accounts carried out under Section 145 of the Act and in carrying out
my examination I have followed all applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under Section 145(5)(b) of
the Act.
Independent examiner's st&tement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the
examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect..
accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by Section 130 of the Act. or

ACCOUNTINC POLICIES
Basis of preparing the financial statements
The financial statements of the charitable organisalion, which is a public benefit entity under FRS 102, have been
prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 102) 'Accounting and Reportiiig by Charities: Statement
of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland {FRS 102) (effective l January 2015),,

Ireland, The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention,

appropriate, or if there is an indication of a significant change since the last reporting date.
Taxatlon
The charity is exempt from tax on its charitable activilies.
Fund accounting
Unrestricted thnds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives al the discretion of the truslees.
Restricted funds can only be used for particular restricted purpos¢s within the obj¢cts of the charity, R¢stri¢tions
arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for particular restricted purposes.

Short term debtors and creditors
Debtors and creditors with no stated interest rate and receivable or payable within one year are recorded at
transaction price. Any losses arising from impaiment are recognised in the Statement of Financial Activities i
'administrative expenses,.
Cash and cash equivalents
Cash and cash equivalents ¢omprise cash at bank and in hand.
Offsetting
Financial assets and liabilities are offset and ihe net amounts presented in the accounts when there is a legally
enforceable right to scl off the recognised amounts and there is an intention to settle on a net basis or to realis¢
the asset and scttlc the liability sirnultaneously.
