ExplantLab are researching the variables associated with the success or failure of joint replacement
including the role of implant design, manufacturing and surgical technique. The complexities of the
response and the influence of immunogenetics on a patient's propensity to develop arthritis are also
scrutinised.
Dr David Langton and his researchers have now published their ground-breaking work in 2022 in N-
Communications Medicine in an article entrtled.. The influonce of HLA genotype on the d8velopm8nt
