**Objects:** TO PROMOTE GOOD RACE RELATIONS AND TO E NDEAVOUR TO ELIMINATE DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RACE, THEREBY ENCOURAGING EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY BETWEEN DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE DELIVERY OF SOCIAL WORK AND SOCIAL CARE SERVICES.
