We had an amazing number of units taking part in UK Parliament Week and the Children In Need joint fundraising. The GENE Team have continued to broadcast their monthly radio show throughout the last year. Units began meeting again face to face late spring and embraced the outdoors with outdoor games, challenges and walking. Other units have litter picked, grown flowers, left random acts of kindness in all shapes and forms and made a difference, however small, to where they live. This past term units and districts have been on residential trips and visits. We have a new website in development which should be launching in quarter 3 of 2022 Our membership numbers continue to grow post pandemic. Several long service awards in the last year were presented at various venues across the county. The Awards Committee have also awarded several different awards as well as the Jack Petchey Awards that are primarily for Guides and Rangers Whilst my County Commissioner role ended in December 2021, I have been babysitting the County whilst a new County Commissioner is being sought.
