Objectives: The Objectives of the charity are: {1 } The advancement of the Christian religion by the proclamation and furtherance of the Gospel of God, concerning His Son, Jesus Christ the Lord, and preaching and teaching of the word of God, bythe Church. 12) Such other charitable purposes as shall further the attainment of the above objects of the church, or any of them. Management:_ The management of the Church is bya church leadership team 9church council) which meets formally every three months. Activities . The church operates from its freehold premises in Gladstone Street, Crosskeys. Where the regular Sunday and mid-week services take place. All these are open to everyone of whatever age, colour or creed. Members of the church also make regular visits to those who can no longer attend the church due to ill health. Other activities apart from the religious meetings include a thriving weekly Parent and Toddler group. Once a month the church holds a coffee morning. Men and women are made welcome and there is no charge for the coffee/tea and a wide selection of cakes and biscuits. It is an opportunity for people to come and have a chat.
Twice yearly. Easter and Christmas. fun days are held for children living in the Crosskeys and surrounding areas. Other special meetings are held such as Haniest Festival and Carol Services. Waunfawr primary school uses the church for its Easter and Christmas carol services. Financial support is given to overseas missionaries and to UK charities. We continue to make contributions of well over 1110" of our income to various missionary and community needs. Church refurbishment & other work. Refurbishment of the church, first built 1914, continues to take place as funds allow, bringing the whole building up to a good standard. The work is caried out by volunteers except for work controlled through legislation or beyond our capabilities. The church buildingconsists of the main hall and a minor hall that is used for mid-week meetings and the toddlers playgroup.

The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
