## **Trustees Annual Report 2020** ## **Pandy Lane Pentecostal Church. Reg. Charity no. 1050567** In 2020, Pandy Lane Pentecostal Church had to change its usual way of functioning due to the worldwide pandemic. When the first lockdown was announced by the government, the Pastor set up a Skype church group in order to maintain the services on-line. He arranged for the older members to be shown how to join the services and the church continued digitally. This enabled other people from various parts of the country and the world to join in live. Because the services were on Skype, it enabled people to participate from their homes. The pastor also started a Youtube channel to help a wider audience. He spoke consecutively for 119 days during lockdown and heard from many parts of the world. The Church also celebrated its 89[th] Anniversary. During the first part of the year, the Church continued to advance the Christian faith through a number of weekly services. The Church continued to reach out to the local community by holding a weekly craft club, a monthly coffee morning and a monthly service in a local residential home for the elderly. However, due to the pandemic, these services have been suspended along with the Annual Children’s Summer Holiday Club and various evangelistic outreaches. As they had began to do in 2018, some members of the Church continued to visit and minister in H M Prison Cardiff each month until lockdown commenced.. The Church also held a monthly fellowship meeting to encourage Christians from other churches until lockdown. The Church has continued to teach the word of God from the Bible, led by the Pastor. The Church has also continued to support a number missionaries prayerfully and financially. The Church continued to carry out charitable purposes in sending funds to a number of Christian charitable organisations and individuals, committed to the advancement of the gospel in Britain and the world including The Philippines, India, Burma and Cambodia. The Church has also continued its supported for a Church Pastor in India. He has been supported by Pandy Lane Church for many years. The Church continued its support for the work of Eternal Word Ministries, (India and Nepal) particularly helping the Children's Home opened in 2011 in Thiyagadurugam in South India, mentioned in previous annual reports. The Church Council held its meetings digitally in 2020 to administer the affairs of the Church. Pandy Lane Pentecostal Church continues to offer hope and a welcome to all. **Pastor Samuel C. Wright.
