Income for the trading subsidiary reflects this uplift with circa £110,000 increase from the 22123 financial year. The new CEO carried out a complete review of the Irading subsidiary's operations, and as a consequence of this review, operating costs were reduced. The overall result of Ihis review was that the final quarter, historically the worst perforining quarter of the fin8iicial year, led to a much-reduced deficit in-line wilh our initial expectations al the start of the year. The end-of-year trading position for the Group's subsidiary was a surplus of £52.845 - which the Board considers is a creditable performance as the original budget s&ltiiig indicated Ihe likelihood of il returning a nel trading deficit for 23124.

Because of Ihe inherent limitations of an audit, there is a risk that we will not delecl all irregularities, including Ihose leading lo a material Inisslalemenl iii the financial slatemenls or non-compliance with regulalion. This risk increases the more that compliance wilh a law or regulation is ienioved fiom the events and transactions reflecled in the financial slalemeiils, as we will be less likely lo become awaie of inslances of noJ>compliance. The risk ol not delecling a material misslalemenl resulting from fraud is higher than for one resulling from error, as fraud may involve collusion, forgery, intentional omissions, misreprésentations, or the ovèrride of iiilernal coiilrol.
