purpose. All applications arc reported lo Ili¢ Irustees, who c(Fn5ider all Ihe risk f8¢tors involved in d¢ciding which
applic&tionb to 8UPPOrt. Donations of mor¢ than £1,000 are decided by ihe Irus1¢¢5 at tri-annuY41 meeting.4, All

During this period th¢ trustecs hmve continued to implement a strategy with a fo¢us on multi. year, unrestricted
fundiii¥. As such y2O/o vf grants wcre awardcd on a mulli-year basis and 770/0 of grants wcrc awarded wiihoul
restriction, offering long Icrm, flexible support to 8rantee5.
In the UK. mul¢1 - ycar partnerships continuc with Kidz Klub Leeds, Leeds Comihunily Foundation, University of
Leeds. GSAL.
In line with ciur commitment to SUPPOrt youth work a thr¢e year grant wa5 awarded to the Gethway Girls, who work
to support, empower and inspire 8ir15 and young wornen in the Leeds area.
The foundation recognise that thi5 year has becn a timc of chall¢ng¢ with the pandemic and the cost of living crisis
ompounding longstanding problem9 for young people and their families. We respoiided to these Lhallenges by
awarding our community based UK grantees a IOVO uplift.
Building relationship5 wilh grantecs and 5UPPOrting or¥4ni5ations beyund fmancial ¥rants is a key value for the
foundation. During this peiiod, we have acted on this commitment - oftering bu5ine5s and fund raising advice to
three chdritics.
Overseas, new grants were awardcd to support the wclfare and education of young people in Africa with multi
year funding granted to Promoting Education in African Schoo15 (PEAS), Able Child Alriu and Cohere.

amounted to £345,8.55, allowing the trustecs to mak¢ additional commi¢ment5 where considered appropriate.

The truste¢5 will continue ￿ implement a givin¥ Strategy und¢rpinn¢d by multi-year, unre$lricted grants.
In 2023- 2024. il is proje¢ted that one £30.000 and one £10,000 multi year grants will be awarded to Yorks'hire
b&s¢d ¢)rgani5ations.
To Ine¥t these objectives. the trustoes will Taise funds and invite and receive contributions gifts. Funds will be
fully cojnmitted by November 2024.
The tru$tees will continue to build on the commitment tu Support organi5alions beyond a financial grant.
The trusle¢s will seek to recrui¢ twu new truslees with the aim of increasing diversity and experience in the Buard of
