Chalr Re Welcome to Kirkby Malzeard preschools Annual General Meetlng The purpose of th5s charlty Is to advance the educatlon of the children at preschool by providing and asslstlng In the provision of the facilitles for the educatlon including the organlsatlon, social and other events to promote good relations between staff and parents and the promotion of the wellbeing of the children. My report details the work of the committee for the period of Sept 22 to July 23. We welcomed Mrs Crookston- Woodward to the team for half a term before she went on to pastures new. We currently have 13 children on roll safe, we saw 12 of our children leave us and started their primary school journey last summer. I have enjoyed working with a fantastic team who have given their time and energy so that the children have been provided with some of those little extras in order that their experience of their preschool days are productive and memorable. We had a lovely preschool outing to Studfold adventure trail which we were lucky to get for free, this was thoroughly enjoyed by the children and parents. The functions of the committee are to manage preschool as a non profitsble organisation giving the children the best start in their school journey, another function is to raise funds, our fundraising activities will be detailed within the treasurers report and considering we haven't been able to do a lot we have done really well at what we have done. but I must mention our desire to develop and foster relations between the parent body and the

preschool. We are always seeking support. if any parents can give a little time to support the preschool please get in touch via Tracy or any committee member- you are very welcome. l am incredibly grateful for the ongoing support and guidance provided by Tracy and our fantastic team of staff and committee it has been a tough one this year. Finally, a word of appreciation to everyone involved in the committee this past year. your commitment and willingness to contribute has been incredible* your efforts ensure preschool continues to strengthen.
